“I’ve always loved working with my hands," says Nurse. "I think this path was inevitable. I’ve pretty much taught myself everything I know—so everything I make is extremely personal. Currently, Moreau is focused on expanding its vision. With a forthcoming website and a highly anticipated made-to-order collection, Nurse is exploring new levels of craftsmanship, especially through the use of vintage textiles and ancient techniques. "I’m taking my textiles to a whole other level," he says, hinting at the next chapter for the brand.
