Differently, Still from Liam Higgins.

Liam hosted an intimate screening of his latest short film at Capsul, alongside one of his earlier works, “Wake” and “Grove” directed by frequent collaborator Paul Shkordoff. Each of the three films, moving in their own right, received loud and lengthy applause from the audience. It was a great night, with beverages sponsored by Collective Arts, and concluded with a Q&A session. During the Q&A, Liam discussed his creative process, outlook on grief, dedication to his craft, and love for skateboarding.

Differently, Still depicts a day in the life of a professional skateboarder, and a young boy learning skateboarding for the first time, as their lives intersect. Differently, Still explores themes of skateboarding, childhood innocence, and community. All against the backdrop of Toronto’s best Badbadnotgood.The film was completed in collaboration with Big Pig Productions, Shot on ARRI 435 4-Perf with Arri Master Primes - Kodak Vision1 200T.
